Annyeong Daily has no sign-up and no login. You never need to give us your name or email to play.
Data saved in your browser
Your game history, streak, rest days, stats, bonus scores and quiz result are stored in your own browser (localStorage). They are not sent to us, and we can't see them. Clear this site's data in your browser settings to delete them. This storage is not used to track you across other sites.
Country counts for the world map
When you finish today's 5, your browser sends us your score (0–5). Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, tells us which country the request came from. We store only a daily count and score total per country. We do not store IP addresses or anything that identifies you.
What other players picked
When you answer a question, your browser sends us which option you picked (A–D) and which question it was. We add it to a running total per option, so we can show what share of players chose each answer. We don't store anything that identifies you — no IP address, no country, no device — only the totals.
Feedback messages
If you send feedback, we store your message, the page you were on and, only if you type it, your email address so we can reply. We use it only to improve the site and answer you. Ask us to delete it any time.
Fonts and audio
Fonts, audio files and map data are served from our own site. Loading a page doesn't send your data to font or audio services.
Analytics
We do not use any analytics or tracking tools. The only numbers we keep are the country counts described above.
Advertising
This site does not show ads right now. If we start showing ads, this section will be updated before they appear, and it will say the following.
This site may show ads served by Google AdSense.

Annyeong Daily is a general-audience site and is not directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has sent us their email address through the feedback form, contact us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, Korea's Personal Information Protection Act, or California law), you can ask us what personal data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it. In practice the only personal data we may have is a feedback email address you chose to give us. Write to [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days.
